Just a quick doodle of the Prince of Pain.
Somewhat inspired by Paul Gulacy‘s Master of Kung-Fu run (which I’ve been re-reading), and especially his use of famous likenesses on various characters including, in #38-40, Marlene Dietrich… plus his occasional use of stippling / pointillism… I had a go with the technique myself…
My latest attempt at being creative: a portrait of Jack Kirby’s Darkseid character.
Ho-hum. Not too much to say right now, but trust me, I’ll have a damn good try. The dog wasn’t too well again today, but it doesn’t appear to be anything real bad (relatively speaking; and yep, I know, this blog has become Animal Hospital lately).
Paul Gravett was in town last Thursday, so we met up for a coffee and a look around Birmingham. Me, socialising. But not very much. 🙂

I did need a break. In theory. But I ended up feeling pretty miserable most of the weekend, and guess what? The main reason was about the old chestnut itself: money.
Many things revolve around it. I don’t have much of it. I’d like lots of it. But hell, wouldn’t we all. I suppose if nothing else it has put me into a frame of mind where I’m fumbling for money-making schemes, and who knows, something might take off.
