It’s taken a while to finish off. But for me, this is the end of Club Comicana Chapter One. There’s one more page left, and after that things will never be the same! But that’s all I’m sayin’ for now…
Your earlier concern about whether page three was necessary really seems unfounded, now… page one and two build to that page very nicely. I particularly like the compression of the bottom tier of page two followed by the expansion of page three. Very dramatic!
The “marker” technique on the background of the one Vic panel is nice.
I like the drop shadows on the five small panels… I was actually wondering if you would do that, when I saw the line art!
I really liked the first panel of the restaurant in black and white, and I like it even more in color… nicely done!
This was definitely worth waiting for. It does have a strong sense of moving toward a different direction.
All right… here it is! And it’s great!

Bravo!
Mmmm…. nice. I particularly like Jenni’s face in the last panel. Excellent new haircut, by the way.
What’s cool about the strip is its quirkyness and the interaction between the characters.
