New strip very soon. Probably. I’m getting a little anxious about it and it’s slowed me down and made me fart around elsewhere. This piece was suggested by Jack Kirby’s 1986 “Teen-Agents” concept sketch.

Interesting idea, not the best design he ever did. Not that I could do better, but I gave some thought to how a more ‘modern’ version might work. The guy on the left (both images)—I immediately thought of Silver Star‘s Elmo Frye, so in my version that is definitely Elmo! I also thought the two fair-haired kids could be twins. How’d I do?
