I said we’d have photos. After a long first day with our new puppy, I’m up late having just managed to get him settled down.
Incidentally, we still haven’t settled on a name. Mom keeps calling him Fred out of habit, but I’m not sure we should go with this permanently.

it would be a great honour if you named the little feller after me… but it could be confusing for him when he’s gambolling in the park and Chrissie calls out… “after me!” and he thinks ‘women and dogs first!’ etc etc etc
