Tuesday afternoon, a spot of shopping in Brum, reaping the following highlights:
*New pair of sunglasses. My other pair is four years old and rather past it.
*The Maltese Falcon on DVD for a penny under seven quid.
*M&S Swiss chocolate (with whole hazelnuts)… almost too good.
*People walking around looking dazed. Dawn of the Dead for real!
It was one of the first fairly nice days of the year, I think, but it was spoilt by rain showers and the ubiquitous wind. Still, in two or three months we may be suffering a hundred degrees again, so I’m making the most of it. Um, did I mention I hate really hot weather (even more than I hate really cold weather)? 🙂
Meanwhile, today we have showers again and a nice line in dark clouds. Thrilling! I’m taking a trip into Leicester tomorrow, so I’m hoping the weather behaves itself…
