Since I was droning about Harry Potter earlier… today (er, yesterday), I read the appalling story/rumour that they might use cast-off footage of Richard Harris from the first two movies, combined with his stand-in and computer trickery, to generate an artificial ‘performance’ for the third movie!
I really, really hope this is only a rumour…
My creative wellspring is pretty dry at the moment, so I’ve not been productive in any way. External irritations have eaten away at some of my time and concentration, but it’s mostly just lack of interest I guess. It’s a time of year for slight disappointment—you know, my Christmas comments earlier were at least partly satirical, and it is nice if you can do something different during the holidays. I’m saddened I didn’t have the money to go down to London to see one or two people, to be honest. I anticipate sitting around eating too much and watching too much TV… so, a pretty normal Christmas, then.
