No, I haven’t abandoned the blog. I just haven’t had much to say, really. Mom and I both had a nasty cold week before last (caught from her boss), and with mom’s health not being great, she’s still suffering the effects, so it’s been a subdued atmosphere.
I got asked for a blowjob today by someone about 15 years my junior. Charming folk round here! But, I guess, the nearest thing to a proposition I’m gonna get anytime soon. 🙂
We did see Pirates of the Caribbean last week, which was a simple fun flick. Mom’s a recent convert to the Cult of the Depp. I doubt it would’ve been worth seeing without him. Well done zombie FX. Worth a look.
I have no announcements about any ill-advised project ideas. Not yet, anyway. I had a burst of inspiration, but it’s faltered a bit. I have serious issues with self-belief, and probably the biggest factor is how the last significant project I worked on went sour in ways I don’t want to talk about. Pirates was even worth seeing again (my wife and I saw it on a rare summer visit to the cinema) because of Mister Depp. I’m a recent convert to the Cult thanks to Pirates; since then we revisited Chocolat and I enjoyed it much more than the first time. Geoffrey Rush also stands out (although like Depp this is a misuse of his talents).
