Last night’s viewing: Stephen King’s Rose Red, a four-hour television production from 2001. Unlike most King-based films, this is an original script by the man himself, rather than an adaptation of his prose by other hands.
It’s a fairly standard haunted house gig, except most of the people involved are psychics. Good characterisation, reasonable FX. Pure King works much better than diluted imitations, so I really enjoyed it. I’ve nothing constructive to add to that, except: worth a look.
