I’ve had a few really quite supportive e-mails in the last couple of weeks. I’m sure I come across as ungrateful sometimes, which is unfortunate, because I’m not. The ones who know me best, I think, realise this. I do have a few good friends. I wish I lived nearer to the people I get along with—I’m not the easiest person to know, and I don’t have anyone nearby.
