Now we have an official poster for Monsters, designed by moi!
And yep, see the Bell’s End tag for more! This is our faux grindhouse trailer, homaging Euro Cult and the likes of Lucio Fulci. Of course, if any backers or companies showed an interest, we’d definitely be up for making a full movie!!
Anyhow, it’s been on the shelf for months and months, and we still need to shoot a couple of extra scenes. We’re working on it. It’s back on the schedule after the hiatus. More news soon.
Meanwhile, here’s a couple of frame grabs; firstly, from a titles sequence I’ve recently been playing with… secondly, good old Melyza Fay being stalked by THE KILLER…
Followup to this post. Here are a couple of photos from the Friday, October 20th shoot… for both shoots, the interiors were done at the house of Blake Woodham… Blake & Family patiently allowed us to makeover two separate rooms 1986 style—for which we offer profuse thanks & appreciation.
Here’s Melyza Fay with Sham Zaman, in our faux 1980s Psych consultation office…
And here’s a group pic post-shoot, featuring Steve, Sham, Me and Melyza. This came out a lot more weird & sinister-looking than anyone intended, but what the hey.
Here are a few frame grabs from the unedited, ungraded footage from Wednesday’s Terror at Bell’s End shoot, featuring Steve Green and Melyza Fay.
Yesterday, we shot the first scenes for our faux grindhouse trailer, Terror at Bell’s End. We’re shooting more tomorrow (Friday), with hopefully the last scenes being completed on Sunday. Here’s a couple of on-location shots, featuring star Melyza Fay with co-stars Steve Green and John Messer…
(And yes, this is set in the 1980s.)
Here’s a faux retro poster, using the image posted here.
So we collected an A1 size printed version of the lovely, if I do say so myself, Club Vamporama poster (as seen here) yesterday… it’s now ready in a frame for Sunday’s shoot with Melyza Fay, who will be playing Jude, Bette Noir’s PA and confidante. Voila!
(Excuse quality & reflections. Best I could manage right there. More soon!)
A follow-up to this. Now in ever-lovin’ colour!
As mentioned elsewhere, work is underway on a Club Vamporama live-action teaser/short film, including prelim talks with potential cast members. Liz Black’s characters have been around for ten years now, and a filmed version has been discussed for 4-5 years. Looks like it’s gonna start coming together! 🙂
Anyhow, a poster for a gig by Bette Noir and her band, at everyone’s fave club, is seen in the opening moments of the shooting script and called for some artwork & design to be executed so said poster could be physically printed (size will be around A0). So, Yours Truly did the honours. Here it is. Below the poster is the isolated original art of Bette & Co. Feedback welcome!
