Yesterday, we shot the first scenes for our faux grindhouse trailer, Terror at Bell’s End. We’re shooting more tomorrow (Friday), with hopefully the last scenes being completed on Sunday. Here’s a couple of on-location shots, featuring star Melyza Fay with co-stars Steve Green and John Messer…
(And yes, this is set in the 1980s.)
New interview where All Bad Things star Demelza O’Sullivan discusses her role in our short film, plus acting in general!
(With apologies for radio silence. Much more stuff shortly.)
Here’s a faux retro poster, using the image posted here.
Further to previous post, here’s a quick model sheet of one of our characters!
It’s a new project! Although, it has its roots a few years ago. (More on that some other time.) A filmy type project. A grindhouse thing. And it needs a suitable poster… hence, raw lineart for part of the poster design, hot off my drawing table.
Yep, All Bad Things has been in the papers! From the Solihull News, September 22nd 2017.
As mentioned here—the first trailer for our short movie, All Bad Things. All feedback & support is much appreciated!!
More storyboards for All Bad Things! This is all you get as we don’t want spoilers, eh? Followup to this post. Currently editing a promo trailer for the film, so stay tuned!
Couple of frame grabs from early edit of some of yesterday’s All Bad Things footage! Featuring Liam Woon as Mike and Sham Zaman as the Waiter.
Principal Photography for the indie short All Bad Things was held yesterday, at the Rajnagar, Olton, and everything went really well… plus, we wrapped well ahead of time! We still have two further (small) blocks of filming to do in the next week or two, but the biggest part is in the can and, IMO, looking real nice!!
Here are a couple of on-set photos (during the run-through before actual filming), and a big shot of the cast & crew assembled.
Group photo shows, left-to-right: Joe Dempster, Sham Zaman, Gabriela Zogall, Anthony Atkins, Sophie Sharp, Olivia Comer, John Messer, Kevin Clarke, Steve Green, Rob Eadon, Demelza O’Sullivan, Abul Kalam, Liam Woon, Aliy Haycox, Jamie Lambe. Not shown: Chrissie Harper (because I took the photo!), David Shakes (because he had to leave early) and Omar Kasis.
