Yep, another little hiatus, but honestly I doubt I went a single day without thinking about what to blog next. I did want to commit to keeping this fairly ongoing again. And I will. But those of you who are regular readers, I hope, will feed me a little with feedback so I don’t feel excessively lonely here!
And, yes, some stuff has happened since October 27th. For one thing, Tikki had a trip up North to meet a Westie pal named Marco…
For another, it was my COUGHrd birthday on Oct 30.
Okay! Following on from “Hail Cthulhu!” Redux, this is the second and final strip celebrating the tenth birthday of Club
Comicana Vamporama. It’s also the last new J&M strip to go on here for a while, probably, as I’m working on Club Vamporama #1, an actual PRINT comic. The cover is finished; I might post a preview sometime.
New comics! As some of you know, I stopped doing comics after February 2013. During the hiatus I did some other things, including a few T-shirt designs. Anyhow, right now I’m moving towards a number of new projects, including regular Webcomics and a revival of Club
Yup, Club Com/Vamp is, as of June 2016, exactly ten years old! To celebrate, there will be two new strips; firstly, a reworking of an older strip, below—to be followed shortly by an all-new one!
Compare & contrast time!
Hard to believe, but today is not only Vincent Price’s 105th birthday and Christopher Lee’s 94th birthday—it’s ten years since Alex Toth passed away. (Peter Cushing’s 103rd was yesterday.)
Most importantly, to me, today is ten years since my mother died. (Yes, she and Alex died on the same day.)
Well, actually it was yesterday this blog achieved the age of fifteen. Landmark? Suppose. Blogs weren’t all that common back in 2000. So this was a relatively early one; which means it’s survived through the ascent & peaking of the blog form and its inevitable decline since good old Faceborg took over everything.
So, um, Happy Birthday, Blog!
I was indeed
harumph years old on October 30th. which always signals the impending close of yet another year, this time 2015, which with all the best will possible has been something of a fleeting and not particularly polished turd amongst many others.
Birthday wise, the Good was…
Phew, ain’t it just been the quietest on here? Is anyone still reading this? I think I asked before… I’m not giving up on the place, y’know, as this is actually the year of its tenth birthday. But with a very tough, ongoing struggle to find work and just doing other ‘stuff’, it’s been low on my list. Are blogs fashionable anymore?
