The Last Club Vamporama

Hah! So here it finally is!!

I’ve given this a lot of thought. I wasn’t planning to publish it. One of the reasons being that my attempt to do a colour version in Photoshop was looking so horrible (IMO), I couldn’t finish it. There were other reasons. See below the artwork for more details!! (Also, page two etc is below the cut, if you’re reading on the front page!)

Anyhow, finally decided to just put it up here and to hell with it…

One note before you read on: these are “original art” scans, before any clean-ups or adjustment, so what you see it what I drew, warts & all.

Club Vamporama, RIP

While scanning the Darkseid piece I posted last month, I also scanned two new pages of comic strip work that I was going to post on here, but ultimately decided not to. About a dozen people have seen the strip privately, and all but one gave me nice feedback on it (the other one says he will comment on it, too, when he has time)…

“Hail Cthulhu!” Redux

New comics! As some of you know, I stopped doing comics after February 2013. During the hiatus I did some other things, including a few T-shirt designs. Anyhow, right now I’m moving towards a number of new projects, including regular Webcomics and a revival of Club Comicana Vamporama.

Yup, Club Com/Vamp is, as of June 2016, exactly ten years old! To celebrate, there will be two new strips; firstly, a reworking of an older strip, below—to be followed shortly by an all-new one!

Compare & contrast time!

A Decade

Renewal

As I type this, we’re at roughly 1:10am on the 27th. Of May. Not the friendliest of dates for me. Today, four years ago, my mother passed away. I’d be lying if I said it had been the greatest four years ever. It’s had its good points. Just not enough of them. And since moving back here in Dec ’07, I’d say the good points have receded quite dramatically.
